Finally, I have enough clarity to update you on my continuing sojourn with Money.

What Archangel Michael says in this excerpt from Ronna Herman's January 2008 message is a wonderful synopsis of the Higher Story of my Money sojourn to date:

"Each person’s Soul-Self is endeavoring to assume its proper role as the director of his/her life’s experiences. There is a tug-of-war going on between the Soul-Self and the ego desire-body, for the ego does not want to relinquish its control of the three lower bodily systems: physical, emotional and mental. The Soul is immortal and could be called the personality of your God-Self, and it remembers who you truly are and ALL you have experienced throughout your many sojourns as a conscious God Spark. The ego desire-body is an integral part of your physical personality, and your physical, mental and emotional bodies have been encoded with the attributes, the weaknesses, strengths, challenges and opportunities you chose to experience in this important lifetime.

The ancient teachings stated that ‘you must kill the ego desire-body’. However, that is not what will assist you in creating your greatest good. You were gifted with an ego desire-body and free will as a cocreator on the earthly plane. However, the ego was to be the servant of the Soul and not the other way around. And so, as with other imbalanced creations, addictions or negative traits you are working to bring back into balance and harmony, the secret is to ‘love them free,’ and not try to break the hold they have on you through resistance….

When you are filled to overflowing with Love/Light, and Spirit is the director of your life and experiences, you no longer worry about getting your share of love, wealth, respect, etc, for the validation of who and what you are comes from within, and that is when you move into the unselfish mode of a master. You know you have access to the riches, virtues and talents of your Divine birthright, and you are not dependent on anyone or anything in the physical world...."

I realize it's about being willing ... and demonstrating that willingness ... to give up my one and only remaining ego-driven goal – my money accumulation addiction (for others it may be prestige, fame, beauty, etc.) ... and all efforts by ego to try and make money happen in my life.

Its about the ego subordinating its desires to the Higher Self.  The ego does not lose or give up its desires but its finally able to put its desires and agenda on the back burner and say, Thy Will Be Done.  So although I still desire to have boatloads of money, that desire is no longer driving me ... ego desire is no longer in the driver's seat. That spell has been broken!

The Higher Self is finally able to direct the life stream and the immensity of the Power coming through is just beginning to make itself known and felt. 

For instance, in the last few days I've intuited on several occasions how strong and balanced one's (morphic) field must be in order to have, hold and ground this kind of Power. And its interesting to note (which I will probably find profound, in hindsight) that the complete surrender of ego had to occur before I could begin to integrate this Power, experienced as grounded Power, represented by my inner Oprah and Isis energy down-stepping into form.

The ego does not get to and never will yield this kind of Power. Only once one has unequivocally surrendered to the Higher Self will one be capable of and ready to hold and yield this Power ... directed by the Higher Self, of course. 

Being the 'servant of the Soul' (the process of serving the Soul by remaining ego-surrendered and attentive to direction) is the way, and the only way, we co-create with Spirit ... This finally makes sense to me ... It's not that I have to know or have grand ambitions for my life going forward ... In fact, I believe this is only more ego and will only get in the way at the moment.  What is required is that I be a clear, pure, empty (surrendered ego) vessel ... a conduit for Spirit to work through.  That's it!  That's All!**

My understanding in this moment (subject to change with more insight) is that my only task is to remain ego-surrendered to the Higher Self and attentive to its direction .... This requires being Present and in the Now Moment, ready to act and yield this Power at Spirit's prompting.  And, according to Karen Bishop's last several alerts, between promptings, I get to play!  Sounds easy enough to me.

**I believe a Caveat is required here. As someone who has lived on the Planet for .... oh, alright .... 50 years (I suppose surrendered ego means surrendered ego!), I believe this route is imperative (for me) in order for me to be able to move my life onto a totally different trajectory from the one I've been living up until now whereas younger people, children (and walk-ins?) may have come in with a viable Soul plan in place for these Current Times, knowing what it is they've come to do and ready to put it into action.

The point I'm trying to make is that people who've been around awhile are living the ending of one epoch and the beginning of another (absolutely amazing) which calls for a drastic change in course from the status quo, and (ego) having no idea where we're headed must rely on Soul to direct it.  Thus absolute surrender is imperative and is even beginning to sound desirable!
